Volunteer Opportunities Available

  • Search and Recovery Technicians

This is the "tip of the spear" so to speak in achieving our missions. No experience is necessary because we can train interested individuals in the role of a search and recovery technician. However, those with backgrounds in forensics or archaeology are especially encouraged to apply

  • Development and Public Relations Volunteers
  • Historical Research Assistants

Most cases involve a lot of time and effort spent going through archival materials to enable an effective search to be planned. If you have an interest in history, this might be a good fit for you.

  • Translators/Language Instructors

Due to the need to function in a number of countries, having a multilingual team is important. We are always happy to hear from folks who want to volunteer as either translators (for deploying teams or in the translation of case file documents) or language instructors. While any language is a benefit, we have a special need for translators or instructors who can speak the following languages:
    -German
    -French
    -Italian
    -Dutch
    -Norwegian
    -Croatian
    -Greek
    -Arabic
    -Chinese
    -Hindi
    -Turkish

  • Genealogists

Genealogists can play an important role by helping to locate family members of or surviving witnesses to events of a case. These can form vital sources of information for our planning of search and recovery missions
