Aquatic forensics- particularly that involving the changes and fate of human remains- is a growing and constantly changing field. Our goal is to remain at the cutting edge of that field but in terms of the science and the application of it to real world cases. It is one of the most diverse subjects in forensics due to the interaction with so many other scientific disciplines. Marine biology, hydrology, forensic pathology, forensic anthropology, nautical archaeology, meteorology, acoustic physics....all of these and more can play a role.
